Marketing Researcher, Creative Thinker, Generally Curious

Ever since I was a kid, people would describe me as creative-- not exactly an artist, but the kind of creative that itches to find the answer to a puzzle or gets a thrill out of coming up with the most out-of-the-box solution to a problem.

In this spirit of bold creativity, I abandoned my pre-med major two weeks into undergrad (you're welcome, world) in favor of a marketing degree. Two commencement ceremonies, three degrees (Elizabeth Randon McDougal, MBA, MS, BA), and a slew of professional experiences later, I haven't regretted that decision once.

Today, I am a full-time researcher and Ph.D. student exploring the intersection of behavior and marketing strategy, specializing in professional sales and sales management. Iā€™m especially interested in authenticity in buyer-seller relationships, salesperson emotions, and sales enablement issues.
